Recipe Framework

Recipe Framework overview

The “Recipe Framework” is a feature for switching at will between available functions in equipment.

This framework allows you to offer varying functions by setting “recipes” for each service adaptor. For example, you can enable wireless access point functions on a device at a certain office and, even though the device type is the same, at a different office enable IPsec-VPN functions.

The conditions for use of the Recipe Framework are as follows.

  • The SA code is a “Recipe Framework Dedicated SA Code” ( About SA code types )

  • The equipment assigned to the SA code is “Recipe Framework Compatible”
