The “SA Config” sub-tab allows you to update, browse, and reflect service adaptor configurations.
Updates a config.
The module for config creation changes depending on the equipment type for the Distribution ID assigned to the service adaptor. You also can update the module version from this sub-tab.
Config content edited here is saved as the “Working config.” To apply updates to the Working config to the service adaptor, you must perform the config “Reflect” operation separately.
If the target module is in command line format, you can display the differences between the content of the edited config and the Working config saved on the server while you are editing the config. Also, the config validation can be executed if the equipment supports this feature.
If the target module is in binary format, the config content is updated by uploading the desired file.
The “temporary config” is located within the “Working config” only. The temporary config is not reflected onto the service adaptor. You can use the temporary config when creating a draft.
Shows the Working config, Startup config, and Running config for the service adaptor.
If the target module is in binary format, you can confirm config content by downloading the file.
If the service adaptor is assigned to a Template, you can display and update Template Variables for each service adaptor.
Click the “Update variable” button in the upper right to update template variables.
Allows you to confirm the content of the config being applied to the service adaptor after the next Reflect Config operation.
Running this operation will not affect the content of the Startup config or the Running config. Allows you to preview the content prior to actual Reflect Config operation without impacting the service adaptor.
When not using a template, the Working config content is displayed. When using a template, the Template config content merged with the template variables is displayed.
Similar to the Update Configuration screen, you can display the differences between configs and run the validation process.
Reflects the config onto the service adaptor.
For Recipe Framework-dedicated SA codes, there are restrictions on the Reflect Config operation. See “ Reflect config restrictions “ for details.
When not using a Template, the Working config content is reflected. When using a Template, the Template config content merged with the template variables is reflected.
Reflection schedule
At startup
When “Reflect at Startup” is specified, the content of the “Startup Config” are updated. After the reflect operation, the config is applied based on the timing of when the next Pull is executed by the service adaptor.
Immediately
When “Reflect Immediately” is specified, in addition to updating the content of the “Startup Config,” a “Reflect Running Config” task is generated in order to send a test Push to the service adaptor. If the task is executed successfully, the config is reflected on the service adaptor and also the “Running Config” content is updated. You can confirm the status of the Reflect Config task and task results by viewing the relevant task.
Reflect schedule designation
When “Reflect Schedule Designation” is specified, in addition to updating the content of the “Startup Config,” a “Reflect Running Config” task is generated in order to send a test Push to the service adaptor at a specified date and time. If the task is executed successfully, the config is reflected on the service adaptor and also the “Running Config” content is updated. You can confirm the status of the Reflect Config task and task results by viewing the relevant task.
